Delve into the soul of the caldera by staying in this beautiful and cosy beach house, nestled in Armeni Bay, the hidden gem of Oia!
Armeni Bay is Oia’s second small port and used to be a shipyard for sailing boats until the 1970s. Nowadays, the small port is only made use of by a few fishermen and private yachts. Armeni Bay is one of the rare spots in the caldera where one can swim whilst enjoying the breathtaking views. It can be accessed via the 268 steps that connect Oia’s main street to Armeni Bay. The descent takes 10 minutes and the way up, which is more challenging, may take up to 15 minutes. We arrange the transportation of our guests’ luggage, for both their arrival and departure, and it is complimentary. Armeni Bay is a very unique place, and one of the very few locations in Oia where one can enjoy such cherished privacy and tranquillity.
The tastefully renovated Armeni Beach Front House is located in a truly unique spot of the caldera, at the foot of Oia’s cliffs.
The beach house consists of three levels. The ground floor features a small dining area and kitchenette. A bedroom with a double bed and an en suite bathroom is located at the back. The second level is an open loft with two single beds. The third floor is a bedroom with an en suite bathroom. The bedroom offers a double bed, a single bed and one small single bed that can sleep a child.
The beach in front of the house is a volcanic pebble beach, ideal for swimming and kayak excursions to the nearby small bays. Both this villa and its location are very special and idyllic for sea lovers and people who are looking to escape the pressures of fast paced living.
